I remember this game as a kid this game is one of the most challangeing Sci Fi first person shooter games i have ever played the graphics were ahead of its time when i was a kid the artwork the features the textures the audio everything that really made this game stand out its a game that has a fasinatic storyline the gameplay is incredable the first mission is beautiful the puzzles the challanges it will make u think and focus and u must have stratagy in your attcks thats what i did its a real exciting game that everyone should check out at least once its very entertaning thats a promise its very life like the enemeys i really enjoy this game all the time
System Shock is about great atmosphere and exploration of space station citadel sci-fi dungeon.
System Shock can be enjoyed also in story mode by setting combat and cyber difficulty to one or simply to zero. Then nobody is shooting at you and it is just exploration, adventure, puzzles and story.
I just finished GOG enhanced version. The enhanced version has better graphics and mouse control over the original version. It took me about one month of casual game play without a game guide. My actual play time was 18 hours with score 1,251,535 but I got stuck for 2 or 3 hours many times. When I got stuck I did not know what to do next or I could not find some hidden button so I stopped playing and returned to it week later.
This was my first time playing this game, and I went in completely blind. It also happens to be the oldest game I've ever played, so I was apprehensive going in after seeing some reviews talk about how much the game has aged.
