A fond memory
I enjoyed the game weay back on it's playstation 2 release back in 2001, the music is still fantastic to this day though some things perhaps haven't aged as well. I feel like this game has more audio effects in it than the ps2 version, also the graphic options are nice. You can see more into the distance than the ps2 version i think but can't confirm as i no longer have the ps2 version to compare to. The graphic are nice but mostly functional & never truly impressive but it's an old game. Just to give some perspective though this game came out the same time as final fanytasy 10, the graphics won't excite you. The story is engaging enough but the best part of the game is the atmosphere, it really pullled me in back in the day. Some negative issues are i can't alt tab which is just nuts & no game pad option available. This is all mouse & keyboard control which bugs me as this game came out on ps2 so i know it's possible but the option is not here at all. Make sure you save from time to time! this is one of those games where a lot of time can pass as you play & you might forget to save aaaaaaaaaaaand CRASH. Overall I love the paying price & ZERO DRM! Worth it for nostalgia but shame they could'nt ...upgrade it a little more..
