Would have been great in 1996!
I wish I had known about this one when I was younger. Good amount of events here and it's great that the joystick supports works so well with a controller. Is fun and would have been great for 1996, and the fact it works so well makes it worth the price. That being said, with all the Olympic games out there, this one is just another one to add to the pile.

Crack issue
It is a shame that GOG is selling the version with crack activating the aniti-piracy protection of the game which will make the game not playable. You need to overwrite the exe files with originals and use the "code wheel" to enter the proper code - then everything works properly. The game itself is a gem and great childhood memories. Perfectly suitable for the couch party even today. When GOG will repair the crack issue, it will be 5 stars without hesitation.

Finally
I remember playing the winter challange like mad as a kid, hradly using any other floppy disk. I still love altough as someone else pointed out there are some glitches like in speedskating and cycing that are unable to avoid. Also in biathlon dont remember if iron sight was twitching so much as it does now, making most of your shots miss the target.

my version was drm
i bought the game to get rid of the DRM (anti-piracy measure, bugs put into the game) but speed skating still forces you to the right on the swings at the third lap, triathlons second gunshots are still skewered from the aim, and you cant ski jump over a certain length, to name the most obvious bugs. this version is not DRM free as it claims

high jump and javelin doesnt work properly when hitting enter and then spacebar...
