Stranglehold

Помню, когда проходил игру в детстве она почему-то мне не слишком понравилась. Однако перепройдя её сейчас, я понял насколько мне нехватает подобных простых игр по фильмам, но с хорошо работающей механикой и динамикой. Игра короткая и потому не успевает приесться стрельба, ну а сюжет от Джона Ву хорошо мотивирует игрока. Есть банальные моменты, которыми страдали все игры того времени. Однако её спокойно можно рекомендовать всем любителям Макс Пэйна и иже с ними. Этой игра катастрофически нехватает ремастере, уверен разлетелся бы как горячие пирожки и показал бы, что можно делать простые, но приятные игры на вечерок-два.

Though it does drag in a few levels, especially at the end, I can't help but enjoy the flair and confidence in this game's presentation. It does Max Payne so well, and with such grace. A joy to play.

fun quick game that adds more to Hard boiled but really really needs the fov mod, an entertaining afternoon game.

a game, with hardly any breaks between levels. Full action, a shame it has so little variety of weapons. the boses are the best thing about this game. It's a shame it's so short (approximately 5-6 hours). worth every penny.

It is a great shoote, if you ignore that awful QTE where you have to dodhe bullets and some slight camera issues. Now the title of this review is missleading because this game is not Max Payne in terms of story, this is an over the top action movie story so no deep thoughts here just fun action. Really good game, runs well on Windows 10 and it is without doubt a quality game with fun and precise shooting and solid story. If you want to know what it is like to star in an action movie than you ned to play this game.
