I highly recommend this game for a variety of reasons: it has a cute story, there's a great soundtrack, lots of elements to master, you can even romance and get married to one of the various townspeople. If you want to focus on design, you can do that. If you want to explore and battle, you can do that too. It's so much fun and it also supports multiplayer gameplay so you don't have to go at it alone.

Buy GOG, no DRM!

There's no other game like sdv, and by that, i mean no other game that it's so precious by itself that after 6/7 years, it's still my go to game when I need confort/distraction/fun/anything else

Both now and several years ago, this was a game one could play and replay. Since then, updates have only gotten better, multiplayer has expanded, the modding community has only gotten better and more complex, and it's still easy to get others into! I especially appreciate that the crossplay between GOG and Steam for it is so simple to use.
