Stardew Valley

I have been playing Stardrew Valley some years now and what can I say its amazing. The NPCS feel more fleshed out and more well real. There lots to see and do in the game the main story will keep you going for many hours. There also the mods that are always been made and there new update due soon. Also great thing is StardrewValley dosent require any heacey system to run it. People say it a clone of Harvest Moon it not it shares some simler thing like a mix of harvest moon and rune factory but we could say that Saints row and Drive are clones of GTA there not they just take ideas from each other and this is the same. Still not sure if you should buy this well how many devlopsers have given away tones of extra free content for free which is exactly what happened here concern ape only charged for the base game and everything he add so far has be free inc lots new things to see and do new events ect and he said he have more to add so why not give ago for the price so low you wont be disspointed thanks for reading.

For the past few years, I don't feel that much incentive to play games anymore. I very rarely get hooked, yet I have over 200 hours in Stardew Valley and my plan is to achieve 100% perfection. Now, when I think about this, the only downside is that there are no achievements for SV on GOG. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it, even for people who do not play games at all - my mother has already over 400 hours in it!

Made it through year 1 in about 4-5 real days. Loaded the game and my save said that I have been playing for over 40 hours. I just worked the same as a work week at my job. Really though, the graphics style is very reminiscent of the publishers game Starbound. If you like that then you may like Stardew Valley. No native Linux support yet though. Works with Wine.

Stardew Valley is the one game I really enjoy playing. this Sim type farming take me back to the days when I was younger and helping my Grandparents at the lake. it was small farm land. the game was to the T to real life . plant, sell and hang out with the neighbors. I love the story of the game and the controls too.

If you like Harvest Moon games then you will love Stardew Valley. They are the same type of farm management game, and Stardew Valley manages to create it's own charming universe that easily sucks you in. The only problem with this game is that it is shallow and does not have the same amount of content you would expect from a game like this. The dialogue between characters and even your spouse is repetitive. You have a dog or cat that you can't play with. The festivals are lifeless and have no real point except breaking the monotony of working on your farm for a few minutes. You can easily make millions of dollars that you can't spend because there is nothing to buy outside of farm buildings. The combat is very clunky and unintuitive even though the monsters can take off a ton of damage in a few seconds. You spend the whole game restoring a community center that adds absolutely nothing to the game once it's finished. There are just so many content holes that the game really feels unfinished. Thankfully the developer is still adding content, but this is stuff that should have already been in the game from the beginning. Adding dialogue after the game is "finished" and out for sale isn't a good sign. I hope this game turns into the full package, but right now it is lacking in a lot of areas even though it is fun.
