Umm yeah yall must be trekkies
So thinking this was "that great Star Trek FPS" which the reviews below say it is I bought it. Gog did well it works pretty decent on modern computers, but OMFG this is not good. Level design is painfully tedious and exploits wandering around console to console. The stealth is completely broken and probably meant as a trap anyway. And the story is terrible but probably on par with an episode I guess. Not sure why people cannot do reviews based on fact and be unbiased but this one is. I have played hundreds of shooters over half FPS this ranks barely above the ones with vietnam in the title. Final conclusion this is a totally average shooter nothing more and if you don't love scifi you wont play it long.

I can forgive the ugly stretched textures, even though it would have been trivial to fix this at development time by disabling texture filtering. I wasn't playing for the graphics. I can forgive the bland story and unlikable characters. I knew this was a Star Trek Voyager game going in, and the game isn't really worse than the TV series. I can even forgive the way the cutscenes constantly interrupt the game flow. What I can't forgive is how linear the entire game is. Because for me, playing fps games is mostly about exploration, and this game has nothing to explore, just an endless sequence of linear corridors. Hard to believe that this was made by the same company that made Hexen (one of my all-time favorite fps games, and one of the most non-linear).

Great game
i already own the game and it seems that GoG did nothing to QoL from the CD's so i will not be buying this game and just use my CD's if gog ever does update the games QoL to include controller and 2k/4k screen supporter i'll buy it here

Graphics have aged badly!
It's an awesome game, but as all 3D games the graphics age very badly very fast! :( But still a good game.
