Oldy but a goody
Good enemy and level variety, a few clever mechanics, and a run-of-the-mill arsenal that is made a bit better with alternate fire modes. A fun relic for Voyager fans.

Amazing!
I remember when this came out, was always a fan of Voyager and still am now. Played it to death so much so, I bought a PS2 and this was one of the games on my purchase list. To find Elite Force and Elite Force 2 on the PC through GOG, literally take my money. The PC version is sooooo much better than the PS2, I had no idea but then should have expected it would be. If you're a Trekkie or even just a fan of FPS games from the 2000's with a story behind it, this is a must buy. It's everything a FPS should be from back in the day, nostalgic, fun, easy to play, it's just a great Star Trek game and imo one of the best if not the best Star Trek game (subject to not playing Elite Force 2 yet) An absolute classic and must buy!

Still the same game, which is good.
With a little config file tweaking, you can get this game back to it's old glory while playing on a widescreen monitor. If you liked the game, it's well worth the few bucks to have it to play when whim takes you.

good for everyone|very good for trekkies
Back then, when the game was first released, this game was - in my opinion - a 5 star game for trekkies. A 4 star game back then for everybody else. Today: 4 stars for trekkies and 3 stars for non-trekkies But I still give it 4 stars in general.

A Classic For A Reason
I finally picked up this game after wanting to do so for a long time. It's a fun classic FPS that still holds up. The only negative is the occassional AI pathing issue, but that's something modern games still have trouble with. Easy recommend, especially for fans of Trek and anyone that wants some fun energy weapons that aren't just slow moving glowing bullets.
