Star Trek: Armada II from 2001 is a real gem among strategy games and one of the better licensed products. It may be old and the graphics are no longer up to date, but it runs on Windows 10 and is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the screen resolutions are no longer up to date, but perhaps there are mods for this game. One mod I can recommend is “Fleet ops”, which takes the game to a whole new level. With new mechanics and new factions. (The Dominion, for example) But you have to own the CD to play the mod. I still have a CD from back then and maybe you can buy it somewhere. But even without mods I recommend the game to all Star Trek or space strategy fans.

Game Doesn't Open
It says it's downloaded and installed. I even tried rebooting the PC. Clicking the Play button and the desktop icon doesn't open the game. It initially acts like it's opening with a small window and then that window disappears and nothing happens. What a rip off!

Menus Don't Work
Prepare to Alt Tab every time you want to use a menu. Otherwise you're never going to do anything. GOG released another thing that doesn't properly work, and fails to live up to their old standards.

Doesn't work.
As others have said, splash screen shows, then nothing. Tried compatibility settings and nothing comes up. Very disapointing.
