A nice return to a memorable classic.
As soon as I saw the games on Gog it was an immediate purchase. It's a classic I remember fondly. So far both games work just fine (despite some claiming otherwise) yes, the game switches to desktop while loading.. as to why that is.. I don't know.. could be a temporary solution to the actual level not being the same rendering backend as the menu. In any case.. just wait for the load to finish, and the game is back again. This only happens between menus, and games afaik. Maybe gog will sort that out in time. Regardless, the games themselves seems to work just fine :) As for the technical side.. the game was released around 2000 so take it for what it is, the tech was limited back then after all. Otherwise the game seem to have held up decently despite its age.
