Amusing piece of nostalgia

For those of us that remember playing this back in the day, it's worth playing for the memories. I'm not sure anyone else would get much out of it. Obviously the graphics are very basic, as is the interface and the gameplay is unforgiving and sometimes just random (eg killing you if you buy the wrong spaceship or walk the wrong onto the wrong screen). I definitely wouldn't pay full price for this, wait 'til it's on special and enjoy a step back in time (or remember why you got so annoyed by it the first time).

Space Quest

Space quest is the best game in creation. What I love about it most is how simple it is and yet how much they fit in. It's not just a game it's a way of thinking. Never have I been more happy to own a game!

Where's the VGA remake?

Same goes for King's Quest--there was a VGA remake by Sierra not featured here. Who wants to play the old 4-color CGA games when better ones are available?

Did not age well

I hate leaving this review, because I do love this mall of these Sierra adventure games still for the nostalgia. But they just didn’t age that well. The controls and everything just seem old and it just isn’t as fun as it was. None of it seems as interesting anymore. Still worth a playthrough. But definitely wait for them to go on sale.
