Way better than Sniper GW2
Pleasantly surprised here. Good graphics (end of 2020) with well designed weapons and believable ballistics. Shallow characters, but well-made conversations and english voice acting. Most of the bugs are ironed out with the community patch.

My personal fave in the series...
I haven't been able to quite understand all the flak this game has received since it came out. It seems like the general consensus is that this is the worst game in the Sniper Ghost Warrior series (as long as you're not counting Sniper: Art of Victory, which is universally, objectively considered a terrible game), but I've had lots of fun with it and gotten pretty sucked into the game. It's the only open-world game in the series, and as far as I'm aware, I think the only open-world game CI Games has made, and it definitely has elements that remind one of the typical Ubisoft generic open-world game, including a map with points-of-interest dotted around it... but the thing is, I don't really care much for most of those types of games from Ubisoft, but Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 still draws me in and keeps me engaged despite those similarities. I think it's that this game has just the right size of an "open world" for me and doesn't overwhelm me with an unnecessarily massive map, or way too many marked spots to explore. And the fact that this is a sniper-themed stealth game, which is one of my favorite types of games, makes it more interesting for me. So if you love the Sniper Elite games and other games in the Ghost Warrior series, and you'd like to see what this type of game is like in a reasonably-sized Ubi-style open world that doesn't overwhelm you as much as Ubi games typically do, I think you'd enjoy this game as much as I do.

Awesome Game
Rally focused on the imersion. You dont have any annoying massive hud between you and the action, the movements does pretty well, the gunplay is very responsive and sound is pretty good as well. The Open world gives you enough freedom to decide from where you want to make your insertion point, you can arrive at the missions by your own vehicle or with a quick travel and there are plenty of "side" quests where you never know what you'll gonna find. Its an awesome game, one of the best tactical FPS for peopel who want to enjoy the game. For the tactical fps afficionados it could be considered a soft but smart option, cause the game punishes bad planning and run and gunning depends pretty much on how you take the action and how fast can you manage enemies hunting you when if you go out loud.

A low budget Far Cry
I enjoyed playing this, but I constantly got the impression that the game developers didn't get to finish it like they intended. All cars exept your own are locked, the open world is divided in three playable maps surrounded by an unacessable map. Cleared outposts are just reset next time you play, so you don't get a sense of progressing in the game. Points of interest become increasingly uninteresting and it's better to skip the cut scenes because the story and character designs are just awfull. I would never have given it three stars if I bought it full price. Enjoyable but not great.

Best sniper game I have played
Let's list off my pros Open World Weapon Unlocks Weapon Customization Interesting collectibles Fun to drive vehicle Fun to explore environment More engaging enemies Not just human NPC enemies Realistic sniper scope adjustments List of my cons Cannot remove silencer even though it degrades Sometimes get hitched on the environment Sniper deployment is sometimes finicky to get a good angle Difficulty compromises aren't super clear Honestly I am having soooo much fun. I have been putting off progressing the story because I want to explore the world and find hidden secrets etc. the first 2 games I plowed through because the collectibles were not interesting, and the story was great, but there was only one way to approach each situation This one offers so much more variability I am not looking forward to going back to the linear levels in Contracts
