Overlooked
Fantastic game. Played it on the PS3 and would have got a platinum trophy had it not been for the online trophies (nobody played it online). Great gunplay, fun story and just a damn good time. I remember it as maybe my favourite shooter from the PS3 era along with Bad Company 2.

Good FPS,Very Linear,Challenge Fair Mix
I own the XB-360 version, and I have played it a few times now, Activision / Raven have put together a pretty good game, there is a good mix of challenges and some puzzles that add to the mix, and ya can miss them if you run through the game to quickly or if you don't take a bit of time to work the puzzle out so you can continue through the level. You really don't have a time travel sort of aspect through most of the game, there are key points in the story line where you do, but mostly you get to control time for short periods of time. And it does give you several ways to get through the levels, I have seen others say that it has elements of timeshift, in a way yes but very differently, some of the Boss battles are a bit of a pain, in my honest opinion, "Bullet sponges" or going through different stages of the Boss fight before defeating them. When this game was made there was no real Game + mode after beating the it first the time as with some games made recently, as in the past 2/3 years ago, so with this game you don't get that option, I guess in a way that is good & not so good. A Game + mode would make ya Very much over powered in the beginning, but further on not so much at some points of each level. All in all it is a solid game, BUT as much as I like GoG, There is no way that y'all can drop the price at least 10 Duckets for such old game. That is why I took a star off, I would like to get the PC version.

Frustrates me, personally.
I'm gonna open by saying that I don't handle failure, even one, very well in games that might even be brand new to me like this. But that said, how it happens makes a difference. Also I haven't finished it and likely won't for the following reasons. I don't have much to say on the game itself other than that it was made by the people who gave us Wolfenstein 2009, which I love, and is similar in concept but ultimately a lot less fun. Gameplay is a fairly generic FPS flavor, which I generally don't mind, centered around the use of a decide called the TMD which lets you manipulate time, objects, and enemies. Using the device seems clumsy and not well implemented, especially in combat. My biggest complaint with the game is that a lot of your deaths are due to the game working against itself to explain what you're trying to do. For example you're tasked with running away while your hands are tied while a woman tells you where to go to avoid enemies. Problem is that she explains this after you've already started trying to run, likely in the direction of death. Sure, second time's no problem but I'm not a trial-and-error kind of guy. This same girl later says "Hurry to the engine!" while you're supposed to be fighting a boss, making it unclear if you should be fighting or looking for an exit. You also have to chase after her and her captors but you're not told that you actually have to keep up with them so when you're looking for pickups on the way or trying to fight a little smarter, you end up getting an unexpected game over because you "Lost Kathryn." Coupled with gunplay that feels...okay but with clumsy shooting at times and for me, this one's just frustrating, and not interesting enough on its own to warrant the shortcomings. I might eventually slog my way through it but it just makes me want to play a better crafted shooter. I was excited for another Raven shooter from this time period and am sadly disappointed. 3 stars to make up for personal biases.

Nice game but not for German citizens
It is a very nice looking and fun FPS. Critique goes to the German GoG-platform and the geo-blocking for legal reasons. The game is not available for purchase with a German IP. So either include a notice in your news when linking and search, for the reason why this doesn't show up in the search results and is not available for purchase in this region OR give us an option to log onto a website abroad (like Poland?) for purchase outside our countries legislature - pretty please.
