Brilliant still
I played this for the first time almost 25 years after it was released and was incredibly impressed with it. The gameplay and story are intriguing and the puzzles are interesting. It's a bit dated in parts but overall is an excellent experience.

Thank You, GOG!
So I got this game when it was free on GOG and did not play it right away. I will confess that it was because of how old the game was and the graphics were the main reasons to deter my intrest from playing. However, recently I've been burnt out of most games and decided to try it out. First few minutes I was slightly intrigued until I reached 'The Innocent Abandoned', at that point, I was 100% determined to finish the game as it grasped my attention. The story was mesmerizing with its dark, twisted, disgusting and horrifying world that really feels like a nightmare one can dream. The plot is one of the best of all the horror games I've ever played. Another huge reason was because I never palyed a game produced in the late 90's. I was 2 years old when this was released and only further solidifies my respect for such early games that is truly burrried among the others in its genre. A GEM that is hugely underated. Only issues for me were some of the puzzles (very few of them). At times it was a little too intricate, but when I stumbled upon any I would search online for help. Overall, the game is amazing with its dark mysterious story, its masterful nightmarish world and its sometimes friendly charaters and not-so friendly charaters.

Insane classic
+ Timeless story, that is interging without being pretentious + Uncanny atmosphere ranging from horror to goofy + Good voice acting + Consistent art direction + Excellent soundtrack + It runs on 2024-hardware - Movement: The characters are slow and get stuck frequently - Action sequences superfluous Overall: A hidden gem that didn't age too badly. I highly recommend it.

Proper Weird
From the moment you seek the man smacking his head against the wall constantly you know you've left normal gaming and gone into creepy land. Adult creep land that is where it's less about jump scares and loud music and more about listening to other peoples "reasoning" and stories and trying not to feel as though your pet is looking at you in a weird way later that day. Some of the walking and clicking around did get a bit janky at times and I can't tell if that's the original game, or the original game fighting with a modern computer.

One of the best game.
I have played this game, when it came out on 1998 and i have never forget it, the atmosfear, the creepy feeling, the emotionnal story and the the final twist. Graphic and the music are amazing and the storyline so original! A fantastic game, i wich they could conceived this kind of game again.
