Сражайтесь с друзьями и врагами в бесплатных многопользовательских режимах Sacred (по локальной сети и через интернет). Вы сможете пройти целиком всю кампанию вместе с друзьями (1-4 игрока), посостязаться с приятелями (1-16 игроков) или бросить вызов другим игрокам в режиме Player vs Player (1-16 игроков).

First time I played it, it was pretty amazing. Unlike other games as old as this, this game is one of the few where you could choose the character.
But when I played this game almost year later I started to notice the flaws. Firstly monsters respawn too quickly (but on the bright side - fast xp and much money at start). Secondly the clicking gets annoying when you kill someone because, when you release mouse button then the character finishes his blow and stands like dummy between attacking foes. And the creatures dropped strange things (wolf dropped gold coins, bears dropped swords).
But it wasn't only bad things. Rich main quest line. Whole bunch of side quests. Detailed world. Easy to learn.
Tldr; A game with decent graphics and many nice features. Very large with a huge amount of content and playing hours. However such a huge world has it's content spread out pretty thinly leading to mindly hacking and boredom. A pity as some of the features and gameplay was fun.
I feel that I am short-changing this game by only giving it 2 stars, however when I compare it to other games on GOG, I find it hard to give it more than 2, after all even the worst games on GOG are still quite playable.
Another reviewer said that Sacred is like a cross between Diablo 2 and Morrowind. While they use this analogy in a positive light, I use it in a negative. The game does not have as good of a story as Diablo 2 or quite as addictive gameplay. Nor does it have as interesting character development (ha) or combat as Morrowind. Some may very well enjoy this game, but I personally found it too open and rather uninteresting, which is a pity. If they had made a smaller but more content filled world this could of been very interesting game but as it is, I got bored after riding a horse around for several hours completing one meaningless quest after another.
I beg to differ...

Windows 10, Intel Core i5-10500 Processor with built in UHD Graphics 630.
Install Sacred Gold .. and then:
1. Instal Mod Sacred ReBorn:

2. Follow mod instructions:
Added possibility to change the resolution of the game. To do this, in the folder
with the game in the settings file “Settings.cfg” (you can open it with a standard
notepad) add the following lines (bold text):
- SR_CUSTOM_RES : 1 (value 1 turns on custom resolution, value 0 turns
it off)
- SR_HEIGHT : 720 (or half of your native screen res)
- SR_WIDTH : 1280 (or half of your native screen res)
3. Instal dgVoodoo2:

- Download and unpack dgVoodoo2_63_2.
- Copy dgVoodooCpl.exe and everything from folder MS sub folder x86 to game directory.
- Open dgVoodooCpl.exe
- click ".\"
- in DirectX tab set: Resolution x2 ; (optional: Filtering: Force anisotropic x16)
4. You have now Sacred Gold in High Definition and wide screen without streching.
So far he is happy and the game roons smooth and without glitches.

The world is huge, and i mean really huge. And this is the first Task: Getting to your quests. Sometimes you get stuck in the Woods because the path is ending in the middle of nowhere. Or more annoying, you have to cross a river but no Bridge in sight and you Keep on searching and searching.
But this would be endurable because the graphics are imho still ok and the classes offered (seraphim, vampiress etc.) are quite interesting.
But that what I really began to hate most and made me finally give up playing is that you have to fight waves after waves of enemies without an end in sight. Often you don't have time to orientate yourself in the map. And running away makes it just worse because Monster inc. will Keep on pursuing you and finally catch up when you get stuck. Using a horse might be a good idea but not if you Encounter hordes of wizards that cast Holding spells.
Even if you clean your path you'll face again the same enemies on your way back. Best is when you return into a cave immediately by accident. Guess what you get. Same enemies, same shitfight.
The game has its moments, sure. But they get drowned in hordes of enemies popping up infinetely. As for me, this is no more fun. It is not even annoying but just boring and frustrating. And at the end I regret wasting so much time with this game. Well, shit happens.
From a German Developer with a very good german voice-acting in the original..
Why is the mother tongue not includet here?
That makes no sence and is very dissapointing..
