Roller Coaster Tycoon® 2: Triple Thrill Pack

Really fun game but has problems on modern computers. If you want the best experience when playing this game use the open soucre program "open rct2" wich fixes bugs and allows the game to be played at modern resoutions and you can import scenarios from rct1.

Just when Rollercoaster Tycoon couldn't get any better, Chris Sawyer released the second in the series and lo, it was! Simply one of the greatest simulation games ever devised, RT2 is a challenging, relaxing and above all fun way to blitz through the days/weeks/months etc... And unlike other versions out there, this one works on Windows 7 in 64bit. Hurrah! Awesome.

A nice sequel to the first installment in the series, though some of its minor changes (flags instead of lights, either free rides and paid entrance or paid rides and free entrance) seem to be a bit annoying and seem to seriously downgrade its value. On a positive note, contains much more attractions and environments you can choose from. Definitely a nice one, too!

This game is great, the only problem is that the pricing structure is significantly less fun than the original, (i.e. can't charge to enter and charge for rides as well) while yes it is more realistic, it makes some of the levels a bit unfun in comparison. Otherwise the vastly improved interface and the vastly increased options make this game a hands down winner.

It’s a legendary game that I never played as a kid. Unfortunately when saving the game it minimizes itself to bring up your files, then fails to reload the game you have to press it out the start menu. It works fine just with changed resolution... however if you load a game it does the same thing, then when you save it crashes so sadly the game is unplayable in its current state. I’ll probably try once in awhile and modify the review if a patch comes along.
