It's Privateer.
I'm a few hours in and finding it very satisfying. I'm playing on PS4, but plan to pick it up here as well. Did you like Wing Commander: Privateer? Personally it was my favorite thing to play at the time. This is Privateer, prettier with more stuff, but I'll admit it still feels like a remaster as opposed to a more modern take on the game. For me, this is the highest form of comfort food and I don't really have any complaints so far.

Unredeamable
Dumb story, characters acting dumb and for dumb reasons all around, and it gets dumber and dumber the more you progress through the game. I wasn't expecting much, and still I was hugely disappointed. If you just loved the first Rebel Galaxy and wanted to experience something like that, be that gameplay or story, look elsewhere. Good thing it's on GOG so at least you may experience all this dumbness DRM free.

Your StarCitizen eperience on the budget
Space trucking is the name of the game here, one of the best space-trader symulation ever. Excelent music (5 radio stations to choose from) give you that inmerse feeling when you jump between systems. You can also have pleasant blackjack, dice and billard table games, which ads a little colour to the whole frontier experience. Oh, you can albo be a space miner - really devs created this game with hard work and love, and you can feeel it.
