Fun Little Game
The theme is dark, akin to Graveyard Keeper, though fun. There seems to be an odd contention about the morality of the dark theme. You kill some of your customers, none of which are a threat to you. While I always play the good character in games that have morality (excepting wonton theft), this didn't feel like a big deal to me. As for the gameplay, each day you must do the business which is a Tailor, a Pub, and the pub's kitchen, split between three floors. You only kill the tailoring customers who come in for private sizing. The business day lasts a certain amount of time where you'll get customers, which will come in for service. You'll aim to keep clothes for sale on the mannequins and food for sale on the trays. If customers cannot buy a product they will leave, which means you'll miss out on their money. Once the day ends you can prepare for the next day and open the businesses at your leisure. I didn't feel rushed like you might expect from a 'timed day'. Customers sort of trickle in. Once the day ends you purchase upgrades of the equipment that vary the mechanics, increase efficiency, or give you a buffer, such as trays and mannequins which let you have more things out on the floor to sell while you have your characters producing more product in the back. It plays like the old flashgames "Papa's Pizzaria" or "Papa's Burgeria," though this has much higher graphics. You can opt to play the story mode or endless mode. The story mode essentially adds a bit at the end of nearly every day where you get a mail item or cutscene which furthers the plot of the game. It may also add a small mechanic or visual element (such as a hanging corpse, potted plant) to the scene. It kept things interesting, and it broke up the daily grind. All in all, it's good! It took a bit to get used to controlling two characters simultaneously but they each have their own domain without overlap.
