Romance-Focused Fandisc to PE
This is the fandisc to Princess Evangile. It is not an upgraded version, it's an expansion. It does NOT include all of the content of the original game! WH includes PE's common route up to Chapter 13, where the five new side heroine routes split off, plus the epilogues for the original four heroines. The four main heroine routes cannot be read in WH. Also unlike the original PE, WH has an official patch from MangaGamer that allows one to restore the adult content if desired. Though, even the "censored" version of WH basically a surgical extraction of the H scenes. There's no sanitization of crude language, nor any all-ages replacement images for the removed adult images. - - - While WH can be read standalone from PE, it is not recommended. You won't be able to make sense of the epilogue stories and part of PE's charm is the length of the main story that really invests the reader into the characters. That said, WH has a bit more of a laser-guided focus on romance, so if you've started reading PE but find yourself annoyed at all the "other stuff" getting in the way of fluffy romance, it's possible to enjoy WH on its own. While PE deals in some very heavy topics, the side girl routes in WH have little to no drama at all plus largely gloss over the main plot of gender integrating the school. There are no choices to make, each story is completely linear. - - - Honestly, Princess Evangile is a complete experience even without the fandisc, but if you enjoyed PE then WH is a highly recommended read to earn a little more time with its fun cast. I think more substance in the side girl routes would make the romance taste that much sweeter, but by that same token it doesn't waste the reader's time diving in, so it's up to personal taste whether it's better or worse than PE in that regard. And if one is so inclined to restore it, WH is also much heavier on adult content, having roughly the same total number of H scenes as PE despite half the readable text.
