The camera angle fixing I can live with from playing LOZ games. What I can't stand is when your character doesn't do what you tell it to do. I have never rage quitted to the point where I unistal a game. This is the first. Glad that I only payed $2.

Seminal boring third person action game
On a certain level, this game is a marvel. It has all of the played out, creatively bankrupt game design cliches of the modern third person cinematic action game all the way back in 2003. And they were all tedious by the end of this one game, yet AAA game designers still cram this garbage in games 17 years later (Jedi Fallen Order, anyone?). To think, all of the elements that would ruin Ubisoft's catalogue by 2008 were already in place here. Unfortunately, while more recent games like Assassin's Creed are merely mindless and boring (and held up by large, technically impressive historical settings), this game is acively bad. The combat sucks, primarily because of the controls, the camera, and the sluggish overwrought animations. There is a LOT of combat. The game seemingly decides on the fly which enemy the camera will snap to. This changes constantly and jarringly in the middle of fights (which are long and boring slogs through several waves of teleporting enemies pretty much every time). Even that wouldn't be so bad if your movement axis didn't seemingly change with it, constantly, without warning or indication. The result of this is that you dodges very often end up going in some random direction that you can never predict, resulting in many variations of rolling INTO damage. The AAA platforming (i.e. follow the obvious climbables and press jump/action button while holding directions) is as boring as it always has been. It's inoffensive. Some of the puzzles are decent. If they had just focused on the traversal and didn't feel the need to mix up the pacing with painful combat sequences, the game would be average. Inoffensive. As it is, it's just not a good game.

Sluggish at best
Feels like a chore, unengaging story, unchallenging yet lenghhy combat, the controls are a bit clunky and the puzzles are generally unimaginative. And the voice acting, ugh. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing good about this game. For a goddamn action game, to have the combat be so boring is a major flaw. It's nowhere near challenging yet you're constantly stuck in it because the game decides to throw more and more of the same dumb enemies at you. And in the rare event you misplay you can just rewind it, nothing is at stakes. And when there are no stakes why bother? Well, the story is not going out of its way to give you a reason to keep playing, that's for sure. Prince of persia 1&2 were bloody hard and downright sadistic, missing a step due to bad jump timing would have you restart the level all over, and while the combat AI was easy to beat it could also murder you brutally if you messed up. And the whole 60 minutes time limit added another layer to it. Sure, trial and error and retries are a chore in their own way, no doubt. And Sands of time got rid of those chores: by taking a 180° approach and getting rid of any fun in the process. What you're left with is an unchallenging game that feels like downtime But worst of all: Unskippable Cinematics/Cutscenes. So yeah, don't waste your time or money.

other than that its complete bullshit, you cant control the camera it goes to the most inconvienant angles whenever it can enemies are impossible youre never given a marker and the first boss is complete and utter bullshit 3 guards that surround you and kill you in seconds fuck this game
