not politically correct. in bad taste. guilty pleasure. these are some of the ways this game was described when it came out. wanna gun down Gary Coleman? he's in there. (yes thats his voice,) wanna wipe out the marching band? enjoy. ever wanna just kill everyone? seek help. or maybe play this game! invade an insane asylum, get some napalm for those weeds, kill some bums, pee on a grave, kill a station full of cops, kill the guys who made the game! and dont forget to visit the elephant Bar-B-Q, enjoy such bad taste weapons as the mad cow, (a cows head with a gas that makes the victim throw up blood till they die) the catgun, (a cat with a shotgun up its bum,) molotov cocktails, (burn baby, burn.) or napalm. (same thing,) plus the usall collection of guns, missle launchers, and other fun toys. not for the easily offended. multiplayer: do all the evil stuff in the game to your friends!

Play the week. Skip the weekend.

Overall it's a pretty good game. I remember having a blast with this years ago so I picked it up again. I hadn't played the weekend stuff before though. Lots of vile humor - but it's all pretty good fun. The game is a blast. The weekend levels though - I didn't enjoy them. It was a really badly written story with forced humor and 'timewasting' gameplay. It just sucked major ass compared to the main game. Skip the Weekend. The original Monday to Friday experience was good enough!

Fair game with moderate replay value.

So, Postal 2 is a fairly easy FPS (First Person Shooter) game. The objectives are simple, and always have a fight after completing the objective. It’s more of an adult themed shooter, with corny writing (think Duke Nukem), with some not so good voice acting. I will admit it’s hard for me to put down once I start playing, as I do find it very entertaining. I had to fumble around in the options menu to get the Xbox controller to work. I had to switch the option to Xbox One Controller and check the Xinput box for the controller to start working. Even after that, I had to fine tune some bindings because it still felt clunky while playing with the controller. I got this game for free so, I can’t complain about the price. The graphics are nothing special, but they’re not terrible. The game sound is nothing spectacular either. I give this game a 3/5. I would recommend this game to anyone looking to kill some time and to someone who likes FPS

Might be be more fun if it crashed less

It's an amusing diversion but not much more, with crude humor and over-the-top violence (though it doesn't seem that bad by today's standards). And it plays off of stereotypes that are...questionable at best. But the wall-to-wall mayhem can be fun, and would be even more fun if I didn't have to play Russian roulette every time it saves or loads a game, or bring up the game menu. I'd recommend saving early and often, except it's the very act of saving that often cause the game to crash. Oh well. Don't ask too much of this game and it won't disappoint you.

works great for blowing off steam

not the sort of game you'd play for an engaging story, or meaningful adventure, no grand quests to be had here, but if what you seek is to vent frustration in the consequence free environment of video gaming, this is it. the humor is a little tactless, but if you can still enjoy it, it's great, and I personally get a kick at how the protest groups are so comically blown out of proportion it warps right back around to being funny. Postal Dude has a sucky life, I'm glad I'm not him.
