Amazing, just like the PS3

This game is amazing, no doubt. The aiming method is still good with keyboard and mouse (I was a little skeptical about the controls.) It still has the arcade feel to it. Plug in a controller and you can play co-op, which is a plus. The one thing, the one beautiful thing, is the boss fights. They are multi-stage, memorize patterns, and take a good 15 minutes to beat them. Amazing across the board, and will surly look out for the second one to come on PC.

Awesome Game!

PixelJunk has great success in making games that are both highly addictive, yet allow you the ability to walk away from the game and get on with your life. I find that I am able to play a few levels, then put the game down for a while, then come back to it a few hours and enjoy it just as much as the first time! I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a simple, fun and visually appealing game to play.

Variety is everything!

I had and still have allot of Fun with this game. You can aim very good with Keyboard + Mouse aswell als Controller and the controls are simpel and intuitive. But what exactly makes this game stand out? First thing...the physics. This game got nice water, fire, lava, ice and gas physics that definitly reminded me of the mobile game "Where is my Water?". When Lava hits water the lava cools down, lava melts through ice etc. The physics are not hardcore realistic but they are fun to paly around with and also easy to understand for younger gamers. The second thing about this game and what is actually my favourite aspect is the variety. Every level (Each one takes about 15-20 minutes) has something new to offer. In one level they introduce the gas. Than you learn that you can burn it. Later you use this to melt ice that is blocking your way and so on. Every level brings something new to discover and in combination with the cool physics it is extremly motivating. Also there is local Co-op which is really cool, aswell as a good number of secrets. All in all I highly recommend this game. I picked it up for 2,69$ in a sale and I would buy it again at anytime! (Smll note: English is not my main language so I hope you don't mind some grammaical mistakes or my bad writing style ^^)

Fun Addicting Gameplay

This little gem of a game is really worth your time with great gameplay, enchanting music, and amazing atmosphere in PixelJunk Shooter. You find your ship floating deep under a alien planet with stranded co-workers to rescue and hostile enemies to avoid or shoot reminding me a bit of Lunar Lander. The graphics and artwork are also stellar and pure eye candy. The game has a very laid back feeling but there are tense moments like the awesome looking bosses that require some thinking to take down. The soundtrack is just fantastic as well by High Frequency Bandwidth that really sets the mood and gets the blood pumping. The controls with the keyboard and mouse will take some getting used to or use a controller both work great. If you want a fun fast and/or unique game this is one to check out.

great so far, but

The physics are great in this game. I'm having trouble getting controls for 2 players set up. gamepad is not detected for second ship. I really wish they would have set up the controls to be like Smash TV / Robotron where the second stick fires in the direction it is pressed rather than having a separate fire button. I may try to use an app to set up this configuration.
