Colourful spaces to explore.
I'm having a lot of fun just wandering around like I usually do in open-world games. Much like Skyrim I'm not sure what the 'story' is or if there is one worth noting. Too much to see and collect to bother with petty things like the fate of the universe. I'm also liking the music more than I thought I would. I expected just an interesting experiment from 65DOS but it's effective and usually enjoyable too. Couple of things to note. The game's definitely been skewed over time by Sony's involvement. Unless you're comfortable with a keyboard and mouse in every circumstance you'll probably be better off using a gamepad even with the PC version. Annoyingly even with a beast to run the game on some of the draw distances are shockingly short with huge swathes of terrain dissolving in and out in front of you. I hope this is something that can be addressed with options for PC gamers in the future but for now it's an irritation I thought the PC version would be capable of avoiding (at least to some extent). I seem to be one of the lucky ones for whom the game runs as it should. Smoothly and without crashing. Oh, and I accidentally married a Vy'keen... I think. I got some sort of dowry though so that's nice.
