Unfortunately, the world has changed. The secret is out. Vampires have finally been exposed, and though your existence is tolerated, your new thirst is not. You came to the one city willing to promise a fresh start, only to find suspicion and starvation waiting on its dark streets. But death could not hold you, and fear will not hold you back. When the sun goes down, outcasts *rise*.

Immersive

About 10 hours in, and really enjoying it! If you are looking for an action game - this might not be the game for you. It's very much text-based. The writing is, however, solid and the characters/companions appealing and deliciously morally grey each in their own way. Upon start of the game, you are able to select a specific skillset allowing for your preferred approach throughout the game. You can develop those or different skills during the game as you go. (which immediately makes me wonder what other paths lie ahead in future playthroughs) I feel like I am f*cking up in a lot of ways, but the fun thing is that the game is still proceeding and the story adjusts to my f*ck-ups. Can't wait to see how it will play out :) The game is fully voiced by many telanted actors, truly making it an immersive experience. Highly recommend :)

One of the best CRPS I've played

One of the best CRPG I've played in my life. The game has so much passions, the scenarios, the landscape, the system are very insteresting where you can also mitigate issues of your skills being low with companions and items. While its not a Tyranny, Pathfinder WOTR, Pillars of Eternity, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter or a BG1/BG2 game, its still has a good amount of variety of situations where you can actually use many skills. I really like the fact that the sometimes having a high level of one skill can literally change one encounter completely and make the direction go to a very specific way. THE SOUNDTRACK IS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE HEARD IN A LONG TIME, IT MAKES FEELS IT HAS A SOUL. Around only of the musics I didnt like at all, but it gives so much atmosphere, so much life to this word. It really add a lot to the scenes and you have very good specific songs that play only during certain quests or specific moments that you never hear them again, so it really has a lot of small details like this. The character designs in general are very, very good. The voices of each characters makes them unique, pretty much all characters have their own voice. ALMOST NO VOICE REPETITION, EVEN CHARACTERS THAT APPEAR IN ONE SCENE HAVE UNIQUE VOICES LIKE A MINOR VILLAIN IN A SMALL QUEST. It also has romance and some dialogues are very good and funny. The worldbuilding is very well written with a lot of connections and things you probably wont know or appear in dialogue if you dont have the knowlodge, so explore a lot, talk with a lot of people and read a lot. I'm going trough a really hard time in my life and this game makes me have a hope of a better tomorrow, gives me a reason to come home after work every day.
