Myst
I played this game when it first came out, I loved it than and still do now. I have played all the Myst games and was very sad to learn that Myst 5 was the last. I do have a queation about patches for Myst and Vista, where do I find them I got to talk to Atrus but the Myst book doesn't work and I can't grt the white page.

Fantastic beginning
Myst is a great start in the series, not too challenging but at the same time it sets the pace for the rest of the series. Also, for the time the game was released the pre-rendered graphics were a great move by the team.

Fantastic game and a true classic.
Myst is one of the very first games to attempt a photorealistic style, leading it to be one of the most popular games of its time. Though the adventure game genre has long passed, Myst still holds up as an interesting, intriguing game in its own right. The sequel, Riven, is much longer and much better, but still this game is very much worth playing. Pick it up!

If you like to use your brain...
It takes a lot of patience and observational skills to play games like Myst. You really have to pay attention to every little thing you see in the game and try and figure out how those things can help you throughout. If you are patient and do not get easily frustrated this game just might make your day. For sure one of those unappreciated classics!

Game did not work for Windows 8 - 2015
Game did not work for my PC running Windows 8. However, the staff at GOG has been replying to me in order to try to come up with a solution. They have been very helpful in responding and salvaged this rating from being a 1-star. I will update this review further as the staff takes care of my situation.
