Grind and jank aside, there is nothing else like a Mount and Blade game, and Bannerlord is undisputably the best one yet. Its uniqueness alone makes it worth playing. To talk about it that way is to do it a disservice though; the true marvel of Bannerlord is that it actually delivers on what is an astonishingly ambitious concept. The two halves of the game complement each other perfectly. It may be on a slow boil, but once it gets up a head of steam, you won't be able to put it down.

My return to Calradia wasn't entirely jubilant, though Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord is a game I'll likely stick with, simply due to my love of the original. A wealth of new systems and activities help this sandbox strategy sim feel more alive than ever, though the busywork required to get anywhere can feel like a grind. Overall, existing fans will rejoice while newcomers may look on unimpressed, unsure what all the fuss is about.

Boyarlord
Bannerlord is a great game even now, few months before official release. TaleWorlds have taken what made the prequels so beloved, and sprinkled enough quality of life improvements and new mechanics to make the game feel fresh. As a result, even during the early access, by the end of 2021, I can recommend Bannerlord as not only a worthy successor, but the best M&B game ever.

Игра просто прекрасна, но. Fine game but
1) Нельзя отдать приказ конкретному отряду напасть на конкретный отряд из-за чего твоя конница, даже при наличии сотни незащищённых ничем лучников врага, сливается об пехоту противника. 2) Осады сейчас не очень хорошо оптимизированнны. 3) В целом игра пока находится в разработке, поэтому я думаю, что многие вещи недоделанные разрабом, в скоре поправят. 1) It is impossible to give an order to a specific unit to attack a specific unit, which is why your cavalry, even if there are hundreds of unprotected enemy archers, merges with enemy infantry. 2) The siege is not very well optimized right now. 3) Overall, the game is still in development, so I think a lot of unfinished stuff will be fixed soon

crashes for too often
Ive had this game for almost a year, only recently has it started crashing anytime I try to make an action like going to help a village thats under attack. currently the game is unplayable in this condition.

- Achievements don't work in sandbox mode. - The created weapon has an ugly space between the blade and the handle. - Despite the excellent crafting system the game makes little use of it offering scant weapon options. Making "Warband" with good graphics, the developers would have already exceeded all expectations but they managed to make the sequel special and no less legendary. This game is definitely for decades.
