so far only played the start of it but i can already tell that its going to be fun.

I really love games pixel art.

Gameplay and visuals all are excellent. Some UI stuff can be polished. Otherwise a very good metroidvania style game. Kind of linear though.

I will start with I have only put a few hours into this game but will leave an honest review of my experience so far. A very simple vania platformer that brings a nice narrative and a dark complex world together with decent music and pixel art visuals. The combat has a somewhat rougelike system for certain weapons and temporary upgrades/buffs which adds an extra layer where you get to try multiple styles or simply maintain your current one at the sacrifice of a few bonus health/ichor. The items and spells add a decent level of customisation and difficulty based on how you choose to play whether you want to preserve your character with defensive buffs or make it very glass cannon and be as evasive as possible but very easy to get killed, overall I would say this is a very enjoyable game and as I progress I'm hoping to see the difficulty scale exponentially to match the growth of the MC.
