A fun game that is DRM FREE and offline.

This is a challenging game with simple yet fun pixel graphics. In short, you need to complete a series of tasks in one minute, hence the title. If you're looking for a game to pass time with, this is a good choice. It accomplishes exactly what it was set out to do. Others in the past have commented on the game not being DRM free and being online only. That may have been the case at that time but as of the time I'm writing this, Minit is DRM free and does not require an internet connection after the initial download. Just wanted to share that with anyone who's considering buying this game.

Wonderful little gem.

Minit is a short & sweet little game. If you dig minimalist indies with a neat premise, you can't go wrong here. It's only shortcoming is its length, pun sort of intended. The game can easily be completed within a single lazy afternoon. It feels in fact more of an enhanced version of a game jam attempt, along the line of Princess Remedy for example. There's a tiny bit of sidequesting & new game plus to be done for those who seek a smidgen of extra content. The only thing I found myself disappointed by is that Minit does not take a lot of advantage of its core mechanic. Namely having only a single minute to get things done. The time limit was rarely ever an obstacle. Next to no puzzles utilized timing at all. Could have needed some more meat in that regard. Other than that though, it will give you exactly what it looks like. Shortlived, pixelated, adorable Zelda-esque entertainment with some mad catchy tunes.

2d 1bit Zelda-like with a flaw

Yeah, the time limit gimmick is just not cutting it for me either. 4/10. The devs got talent. Like the game looks and runs perfectly, but the puzzles are nonsense and 1 minute lifespan is total shit. And yeah, I knew it even before buying it, I just thought that other reviewers were wrong and this mechanic has some potential - it does not.

Better Than it Sounds

In this Action-Adventure, you have one minute before you die, and then start over, though you do get to keep any items you've found or other progress you've made. It sounds annoying, but since it's only one minute, you're not required to go very far, and a failed attempt doesn't waste much time for you, the player. It's fun and interesting, and has a good soundtrack with a lovely monochrome aesthetic. Short game (duh), but definitely worth a shot, if you can get it cheap.

Fun Little Game

I wasn't sure what to think of this game the first few minutes in, but the more I played, the more I started to enjoy myself. It sort of plays like The Legend of Zelda games for the Gameboy, but you only have 60 seconds to complete your next task. The great thing about it is that you will always keep the items or events that you've completed, so that takes away from any potential frustration from having to redo your quests. It offers an exciting challenge that never gets old. I can safely say that this game is well worth the price!
