the best hack and slash
like the title says, best or at least one of the best hack and slash games. the story is a odd and confusing but you don't play this game for the story. you play it for the game play, the soundtrack and for the iconic memes. the mechanics and the controls of the combat is one of the best i have ever seen. like to parry you need to press the attack button + w, the way you primarily get healed isnt through health packs but by charging up your zandatsu, cutting enemies in half and stealing their spine which will also set your zandatsu meter to full creating a really awesome game loop where you dont ever want to run from a fight. it might take a while to fully grasp but when you do its great. you know how people who play dark souls say when they defeat a boss in that game they get the biggest fattest dopamine rush? With this game you feel like you are on meth. when you get knocked down. you don't want to run away you will come running back to them, hungry to take them out. i just wish this game actually goes on sale. i have the game on a different platform and as much as i would love to have a drm free version of this game. i do not want to spend the full $40 price for basically another copy of a game i already have but from a different store.
