Cool.
I love this game, I was a young man when this game came out. It was hard for me then, it's way easier now with the internet. I looked at the hintbook for this game, I can't read it, it's in red letters blocking it. It's overall a great game from way back.

Close to the original
I would have given it five, but there is some bugs in the game Edna’s safe code do not work. You can type 1111 and open it. In the original Atari ST game, for instance you had to use an instrument for getting the code. It is the same for the labs inner door. This might be because of the copy protection are no longer in use. Other than that, I would say it is cool game, but some of puzzles will not work so well in the enchanted version.

Still a great game
I've never played Maniac Mansion, only Day Of Tentacle Remasterized. But this version is a nostalgic old game in ScummVM that is fascining me.

Simple yet fun
I originally received the Apple II version of the game in the late 80s as a birthday gift. The point and click interface is easy, you don't need to key in a thousand words to figure out the right action. The story is original. The game play is fun.
