Break LOTR II out annually
Literally once a year I get an irresistible urge to play this game. It's in a class by itself with just the right mix of strategy, luck and gritty struggle. LOTR II defined the real time strategy genre for me and personally I feel like none of the modern stuff touches it.

Playing on my macbook
Hi Everyone. Thanks GOG for posting this game. Works great! I'm running it on my mac using software gog.com recommended for running on a mac. Great nostalgia hit
I used to play Lords of the Realm with my dad, and even now it holds up as an enjoyable game, though it should be noted that the current version of Lords of the Realm 1 included is the floppy disk version without voice acting and other small things.
