Great gaming experience

I bought this game through the GOG summer sale and was not disappointed. The game is creepy fun, I don't know if those two words should be used to describe a positive gaming experience, but here it is. I actually enjoyed making mistakes only to figure out it took the simplest of actions to overcome the challenge. Your money won't be wasted in the purchasing of Little Nightmares and if your into the single player indie, then don't be hesitant to add this to your collection. Started to purchase on steam until I learned about GOG. Buy, download, enjoy, replay. I'm eager to see if the DLC will go on sale at some point, if not, then I don't think spending $4 for them is unreasonable for a budget minded gamer. Great game, buy it. My only complaint is that sometimes Six would get stuck on the environment when I was fleeing one of the antagonists, but come on, user error.

Excellent design, flawed gameplay

I think few people can argue against the fact that this game has an absolutely gorgeous design. The story is equally great in its own turn: no text involved as far as I played, but the sheer experience of being put in the shoes of a kid faced with his worst nightmares (very recognizable monsters from children's stories) makes for a fresh and interesting narrative. Sadly, the gameplay is extremely problematic. First of all, the checkpoints are annoying af (I was pushed back 3 rooms at a certain point), as they are quite rare, forcing you to redo whole segments of the game because of a single mistake. Moreover, the controls are extremely annoying as well. Very often, though I knew what to do, I would fail because of pressing a key too much to the left or to the right (forcing me to restart the whole sequence, ofc). Not to mention that many puzzles are not that intuitive, which forced me to check online walkthroughs to progress. However, I do recommend it for its imaginative concept and design. But, be advised: you must be ready to get very annoyed if you want to get anywhere near finishing it (and no, I spent way more than 3 hours struggling with the clunky controls and messy checkpoints). P. S. If you can, play it with a controller. It seems to have been designed with this in mind, as they keyboard+mouse controls are even worse.

Beatifully crafted

This game is beautifully crafted. Really nice artwork and very polished. It took me 2.5 hours to complete it; The story was interesting and fun to play; not very challenging but in this case I I appreciated that.

Creepy little gem

A great little game. Very creepy and fun to play. It's a bit shorter than I'd like, but I'll probably replay it in the near future.

Creepy in a good way.

Amazingly great adventure. The Creepy atmosphere with the artstyle and the music to the looks of the bad guys and how it contrasted to our little protagonist in her yellow raincoat? The constant fear of knowing that if you get detected you will have to drop everything and make a run for it or else you will probably be eaten makes it intense all the time. Well worth a playthrough!
