Parental warning and a Mary Sue
This game is marketed as a 'Family Friendly' game, but parents should be aware that especially for the side quests they do not always follow that label. Openly homosexual relationships are encouraged, war crimes are committed, and plenty of focus on villain actions (which may be fair for the title). Plot wise, this basically follows a User created Mary Sue character (a.k.a. a character with no flaws and overwhelming abilities for the setting) in the DC universe as he proceeds to gain more and more power to the point he essentially wishes the final problem away by *minor spoiler* re-wiring the brains of the most powerful antagonists and their goons. For perspective, imagine Professor Xavier of the X-men just re-wiring the mind/memories of everyone who challengs him. It's just not a resolution with any moral high ground, but everyone here seems fine with it (heroes and villains). The locations and other characters serve as a serviceable romp through highlights of the DC universe but the inclusion of the User character comes off as badly written fan-fiction. In the DC Universe, a character like the User one would quickly be removed since he essentially renders all problems moot. Character modelling, animations, and movies are smooth and feel like some of the best in the Lego series. Occaisionally quests can bug out prompting a restart, but likely no more than other Lego games. Honestly this could have been a great game, but I somehow get the sense that there were some shenanigans going on behind the scenes to force content normally not acceptable in kid's game as well as getting the wrong kind of writers for the story.

Crashes at character creation screen
The title says it all. Not too bent out of shape about losing the $5 or whatever; I would just like to play the game.
