LEGO® City Undercover

The game is excellent, there is so much to do and see, easily worth the asking price. I bought it on sale and was shocked how good it was, it was my first Lego game at the time. The story is solid and funny, there is so much to collect and see afterwards.

I already played it on WiiU and for me it is the best lego game ever made. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't adapt correctly to widescreen. But it is normal based the original release and platform of the game

then you will like this. Probably the best LEGO game I have played so far, they really have refined the formula over the decades. I really liked that this one is using LEGO IP and its own storyline rather than just copying a movie as well. Mainly taking place in big open explorable world, with a few missions happening in a seperate stage. The open world is full of lots of different sets of collectables, minigames, side missions and puzzles. A nice range of different 'disguises' (equivalent to different characters in other LEGO games), all delivered with trademark LEGO humour. It now has two currencies - studs as always to unlock new vehicles and disguises, but also bricks, used to make 'superbuilds' to progress missions, places to get vehicles, ramps for stunts and some that are just decorative. Low difficulty curve, suitable for small children and adults looking for a relaxed fun time instead of a challenge.

I have around 160 hrs on my switch and all i can say is oh boy I absolutely adore this game. I just wished, they'd make a sequel, or that the buildings were actually accessible for the player, but maybe these wishes just come from having seen everything and wanting a grasp of fresh lego city undercover gameplay.
