Leap of Faith - impressions

Top tier game in the genre. (5+/5) Scroll down for English. Классическая визуальная новелла для взрослых. Ориентированная на сюжет и историю. История строго для взрослых: детишки, проходите мимо. Откровенный контент служит для подчёркивания сюжета и как бы является "вишенкой на тортике": он есть, его не мало, но это лишь дополнение к истории, а не наоборот (когда история служит прослойкой между откровенными сценами). Из того, что я играл, эту считаю самой эмоциональной в жанре. Слёзы отчаянья и радости гарантированы. Отдельно отмечу прецизионно подобранное музыкальное сопровождение, шикарно попадающее в настроение каждого эпизода, что усиливает ощущения от чтения. Однозначно заслуживает наивысших оценок. A classic multi-root visual novel for adults. It's focused on the plot and the story. The story is strictly for adults, "kids", pass by. Explicit content serves to emphasize the plot and serves as a "cherry on the cake". There is enough of it, but it is only an addition to the story, and not vice versa (when the story serves as a link between explicit encounters). From what I've played, I think this one is the most emotional game in the genre. Beware onion ninjas (or onion pixies if you like this way). Awesome work with music selection. Music matches the vibes of the every moment of the game, multiplying emotion impact. Definitely deserves the highest ratings. Top tier.

Absolutely amazing

I went into this with as most people looking to play an adult visual novel. To get turned on, get off and be done with it but the story hooked me. The story is absolutely phenomenal. It has a real cheesy charm that you can't help but love. This one is definitely worth playing.

wow - Amazing work

I enjoy visual novels / interactive fiction that aren't one of those harem games, and had seen the good reviews for this one and well... took a leap on it. This story... I didn't even realize just how hard I've been hurting inside until taking a journey through this story which gets you right where all those feelings are deep inside. I can probably count on one hand how many "games" have ever impacted me like this was able to do. I don't review often, and cannot get out anything else I want to say properly, but this game is definitely worth it. Just be prepared going in. Many of the other reviews here are spot on, and the "warning" in the game is NO JOKE.

Came for sex scenes stayed for the story

This was actually much better story than I expected it to be. On my 1st playthrough, I even missed most of the sex scenes because the story made me want to role play a nice guy. I'm even not ashamed to admit that on few occasions it made me tear up. CONS (story & general): - while the writing is generally good (especially for this kind of game), with some genuinely touching moments and decent sense of humor, some of the lines are really corny and parts of the story are just not that believable - also, it's kind of weird how the main protagonist hangs out (and can sleep) with seven girls who all know (and see) one another and most of them act like best friends even when they learn about you f***ing the others - the soundtrack (I downloaded the "music restoration mod") is mainly "an average radio pop", a genre I normally avoid so I was getting little tired of it by the end of the game (it was servicable, with the author clearly paying attention to match the song lyrics with the story parts, but I'd still not play any of the songs on its own) - similarly, as someone who couldn't care less about celebrities, pop music etc. I had hard time relating to parts of the story where the characters get all excited about stuff relating to these topics (like meeting famous pop star) - the graphics is a mixed bag, with some of the renders being nearly photorealistic and some having really weird lighting (especially some of the backgrounds) CONS (the dating/sex part): - the characters suffer from the "uncanny valley" phenomenon where on some of the renders, their expressions (or even body poses) look really weird/creepy - personally, I prefer girls with more natural look so I wasn't a big fan of the HEAVY make-up all of them are wearing at all times - similarly, the author obviously has a thing for oversized (fake-looking) boobs - not a fan either - many of the sex animations are just close-ups without the sexiest part - facial expressions Anyway, I look forward to 2nd go...

Great Game

First off ill start by saying, yes this is a AVN (Adult Visual Novel), but dont let that fool you into thinking this is mindless porn or something, if you dig well devoloped charecters and a story that will hit you in the gut, you need to play this game. This game revolves around a MC (his actual name is whatever you choose to give him), and him trying to pull himself out of the wreckage of a relationship that suddenly AWOL 2 + years ago, along with his best freind Steve, this is his personal journey. Yes there is sexual content in this game, but it is not overstate or overdone, the story and the charecters take the forfront, each of the various girls in this game have there unique personality and backgrounds, and they are really allowed to shine, allowing for multiple playthroughs from different relationship perspectives. While I think the creator did a fine job rendering this game, it does show its age a small bit, in the face of things like BaDik which has set the new standard for what to expect out of games like this. But with that aside again the story and the charecters in this game hold up, even compared to its modern breatheren, so if you like well written charecters and a impactful story, and havent played a AVN before, give this game a try, you will not be disappointed.
