Amazing, But You Need The Music Patch!

Leap Of Faith is the story of a man who just got out of a long-term relationship that he wasn't ready to break off. But she was, and there's a good reason for that which you will discover later in the game. On the advice of his friend Chris, he decides to get back out into the dating market and the chiseled Adonis that he is, he finds that he has little trouble. However, what he finds is more than just a fun time at a bowling alley or chatting with a pop superstar at one of her concerts - he discovers that people are complex and they have social and mental health issues that many other games do not acknowledge. Although this game has sex, it also deals with some very serious topics. One of the girls has bipolar depression that makes her suicidal, while another has body image issues. Later on, even the man who told you to get back in the game has dating problems of his own. Leap Of Faith is a fun, slice of life, but sometimes it can roll into serious drama. This is accentuated by the game's music which sadly is chopped out of this version. The artists complained even though Drifty has the rights to the music that he licensed. You'll need to Google "Leap Of Faith Music Restoration Mod" and you'll find that on a certain forum. Trust me, play the game with all the music for a full experience. Definitely one of the best in this genre and it also deals with some LGBT topics in a good light if that interests you.

It's quite a story

Yes, you read that right. It's a game that some people might buy for anything but the story, but i can assure you you'll be playing it for the story after just a few minutes. I don't own the game on GOG but on another game platform and have played through it a few times because of the different paths you can take. The story has lots of humor and light moments in it but will throw curveballs at your emotions out of nowhere which elevates this game from a mere 'interactive p#rn game' to a proper visual novel. Don't let that scare you off from playing it though, it's well worth it and the game has a proper ending (no pun intended) for whichever character you'll end up with and those who will just remain (good) friends. And yes, there is sex in it, quite a lot even if you so chose. The thing that stayed with me most though was the story and the way each character has it's own identity and little/large struggles most (if not all) people can relate to. Wel worth the purchase, even if you are not in to these kind of games. If you like a good interactive story with depth in it, then this game just might surprise you in a good way.

Worth even just one playthrough

You might actually find it a little hard to do multiple playthroughts. Even though there is a lot of content on different paths, and I expect at least 2 others to be just as deep as the main one, no other character can compete with Cece. I have fallen in love not so much with the game but with her. After you play, you will understand why. Music is the other standout feature of this game. As I understand it, due to licensing issues, the music was even better at one point when the game was incomplete. The final product still has one of the best soundtrack in a VN I have played, including many great vocals, spanning multiple genres from light guitar solo to rap. The game is not without its flaws. Of the 8 chapters, chapters 5, part of 6, and part of 8 feel like padding that forcefully flesh out the ending of everyone who is not Cece, at least on Cece's path. Certains characters and plot points seem to have been inserted for no appreciable reason at all. The portrayal of lesbian relationship, which is otherwise thoughtful and nuanced for an AVN aimed primarily at a male, heterosexual audience, begins to feel slightly forced toward the end of the game. These flaws are not enough to take away a star though. "Everything doesn't have to be perfect, for it to seem perfect." You can download a 4 chapter demo of the game from itch.io. Your progress will carry over almost flawlessly to the full version. I recommend you try it. If you like Cece, not necessarily as a romantic interest, it will be worth your while to buy the full game. If you don't like Cece (maybe also if you don't like Lexi), however, the game is probably not for you due to how much these two characters dominate the story. You'll get the idea before Chapter 4 ends. This is a VN with sex scenes, like many movies have them, not a porn game where sex is the focus. If your expectations are realistic, you won't be disappointed.

A Visual Novel with adult elements

So yeah, this is advertised as an Adult Visual Novel but I'd much more consider it just a Visual Novel with some adult themes elements mixed it. The sex scenes are there but they are far more infrequent than other AVN's out there. This games easily got one of the best stories of any VN I've played(although I haven't played a lot). There is a lot of really good comedy in this and most of the writing seems pretty natural. There is some issues with how quick everyone becomes friends and invites each other to do stuff, but it's not that big of a deal. What this game does have is probably one of the most emotional parts of any game I've played in my entire life. There is a chapter that is just seriously emotional to the max and will hit you in the feels no matter how tough you think you are. The writing, specifically for that chapter, is insanely good. It should get WAY more attention than it'll probably ever get because of this being an AVN. My only issue with this is that the character models and some textures can be hit or miss. Sometimes the people look really detailed and good, but other times they just look like plastic barbies with how their skin is textured. It's not horrible but at times it's very noticeable. Overall I'd highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of Visual Novels. It's some top notch story telling.

Best AVN games ever

The story is very good. Rendering is excellent. There are a lot of different scenes depend on who you choose. Excellent AVN game and music is excellent. Buy it. You won't regret.
