Old but gold - pure nostalgia
Somehow this game still has me playing it after all this time. There is something about it that makes it really fun and replayable. You can challenge yourself time and time again by choosing not to build certain buildings or try completely different strategies. Very happy that even with the newest hardware the game is still playable.

One of the best wee, old games, The atmosphere, music (apart of track 19 :D ) and cute graphics, what really makes this game. Love it!

didn't know the game
as a child i sometimes watched my older brother play the patrician & co on dos, then came pharaoh & fugger 2, more than 30 years later i bought a bunch of cheap old games here on gog, e.g. stronghold, so i found this one; after involving the remake patch it works with sound etc., i would have bought it plenty years ago as a green pepper game :)
