Oh man I remember playing the CRAP out of King's Quest 6 when I was a kid. I still have the CD-ROM. :P I moved out for college last August and I made sure to grab it, haha. Such a great game. It's REALLY THE classic adventure game and is really the epitome of a gaming era that has sadly gone by. If you have any sense of taste or a soul you must get this game. It's just that fun type of game that is enjoyable and lighthearted that you NEVER see anymore.

I've loved these games for … well, approaching two decades now. It shows my age, but ah well.
I'm curious as to why the good people at GOG have not released these (as well as their three predecessors) for Mac. Seeing as how the DOSbox is involved, should be a snap?

Oh the memories! I invested so many hours into these games, passing puzzle after puzzle, and dying countless times along the way (the narrators cracking jokes about how you died always made up for it). These games are well written and great for any age. It's good for kids and at the same time it is not too "kiddy" for adults. The 4th one was not point and click, but still a great game. Anyone who knows what point and click adventures are should know about these games...and recognize that they are best out there. King's quest games, hands down, are the best point and click games to this day. See for yourself!
Words cannot describe how elated I am right now! These are my favorite King's Quest games, and past-times as a kid. I never thought I would get to relive the excitement again, but alas fate has brought me here to you wonderful people! You've made me feel like a kid again...did I mention I love you?!? :D
If you are into retro games, these are the ones you need to play.
Be thankful you can download them and don't have to sit there and put in 16 3.5-inch floppies.
