Best thing in Bohemia since Charles IV

Take the freedom of Skyrim, combat inspired by Mount & Blade, realism that is often neglected in "AAA games" and proper RPG character growth, combine that with that classic czech sense of humour and you get pretty much this game. Save for the bugs (as of writing this review I've had this game for more than a year, played for 50+ hours on 2 saves and I've yet to finish the game because the very final dialogue just bugged out for me), this is the kind of game that will take it's rightful spot alongside the cult classics of RPGs in a couple years. Just be aware that those pretty graphics do demand pretty specs...

Most Immersive

Really enjoying this game, its the most immersive game I have ever played, and now at version 1.9.5 I think thats pretty much all of the bug squishing thats going to be done .. done. Warhorse studios put a lot of effort into this epic game, and that will show in the amount of life time you will have to devote to sitting on your arris playing it :) .. Go run around for half hour a day RL to make up for it. I have nothing to say that has not already been said in reviews apart from its a lot better now than anyone's first impressions when it released - Highly recommended game imho.

A true RPG experience.

You are a boy. You can't fight, you die to anything. You have to learn IRL at the same pace your character does. That first time I learned the directional combat alongside Henry is something so satisfying that a game hasn't given me ever before. The difficulty (recent versions) maintains and doesn't drop off suddenly (one of my issues in the past). I've got maxed stats and still have to fight for my life against overwhelming odds. Calvary is still OP but it always is in every game. The combat is REAL. I've learned to use my 1 handed sword stab. If you time it right against an opponent with any exposed face, a timed stab will land in their face and do crazy good damage. Timed blocks are OP and the slowdown is annoying... but it's all moddable! The story is good. The graphics are good. The combat I clearly love. Stop reading this review and buy the game already. :P It's a truly immersive medieval RPG. I love this game. This game is better than Skyrim. Fight me.

Best RPG medieval for me

I love this game. Difficult at the beginning, but later when you get better armor and weapons is so fun. It's not easy gaem but that why I love it. People are complaining about saves. Any time I visit town I go to trader and I buy potion to save game, it is a great idea. I have 80k groshen, very good armor after winning tournaments in Rataj. I also make potions myself, poisons, save potions etc. I mastered short sword and shield, archery is difficult but very fun once you master 10lv and more. It is all about leveling up in skills. Story is also beautiful. I am in the middle of gameplay. I hope Warhorse studio will make another game like this. For me is a must to play.

Needs a pause button

I recently bought this game and it is very atmospheric and well made... But the dialogues and cutscenes are sooooo long and you cannot pause them at any point. Dialogues are even timed so you cannot take a break when the option to respond comes up. Do not play this unless you are certain not to be disturbed or you will miss important plot points and have to redo dialogues and cutscenes that are easily ten minutes long.
