a Weird Masterpiece

I dislike first person games, so got this on high discount as a fix for lack of RPGness.. Oh boy, am I glad I did! Story, immersion, music, voices.. so many things are way above what you get on average from many AAA games. There is plenty of bugs, and weird mechanics that can get on your nerves, but they are all immediately forgiven the moment the game drags you into being Henry and makes you live his journey. Bad: limited saves, characters get stuck walking, sometimes unclear what to do, quest breaking bugs. Mixed Feelings: Combat - you can be easily outnumbered and killed, no matter how good you get. Good: Lots of interesting interactions, realism (history, no magic). atmosphere, story, immersion, music

One of the greatest!

I Don't know why i'm picking up this game just now, should have done it way sooner. It is amazing experience, i'm 36, but i feel like a kid again, so hooked! I appreciate the complexity and the focus on the realism, it's really rare to see such attention to detail lately.

Bought it twice

I had it on ps4 originally, it has a rich and entertaining narrative, the combat is satisfying once you've spent enough time learning it. The skill tree system is unique and feels alright, I love how if Henry (you) is'nt good at something your trying to do or use, you wont be either, you have to build henry's skill in order for ease of use on your end as the player. Id say your efforts are well spent in this game, though it does feel a bit jank and im not a fan of the first games (this game) save mechanic (Savior Schnapps), over all for a game of its size and endeavor, from a team as small as was warhorse at the time, id say it's good game worth a playthough at least once.

A Classic.

If you like medieval history, RPG's, and a great story where you become a knight, then this game is for you. I laughed, cried, and exclaimed in joy. I spent probably 2-3 hours -- 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there -- just sitting on my horse Pebbles up on some ridge overlooking a town, or stumbling upon a brook in a clearing in the woods...just taking in the scenery. I can't wait to play the sequel (I highly recommend playing this first though)!

Bugs, bugs and technical Problems

In the 3h I played so far, I mostly tried to fix the bad performance and bugs with Mods and Workarounds. The game could be nice but is absolutely no fun to play with that many tecnical problems.
