Biggest challenge - controls and camera

This was a slog. It was only 3 hours to finish completely and it felt like 8. There are 6 bosses in the game and they are all quite easy to defeat. The challenge comes from poor controls and an even worse camera. Most of the time it zooms out when something comes from off screen, not always though. Sometimes it just zooms out anyway and sometimes it doesn't zoom out when stuff is coming from off screen. Avoid this unless your a glutton for punishment

Beautiful but unplayable for me

this is a beautifully drawn game and I really wanted to love it. The voice acting is also great, the haunting voices were great. But the battle system is clunky and I spent way to long trying to hit things that were out of range even though they looked like they should be in range. Stopped after 30 minutes.

way to hard

This game is way to hard , without even option to lower difficulty settings. Its just frustrating. Its very pretty game and very atmospheric but not for everyone . Not for me for sure.

It's pretty?

I mean... I was extremely bored with this pretty quickly. Maybe someday they will add sprinting to help with the monotony of walking because the combat sure as hell isn't fun either.

A Pretty Mess

Grade A drawing, grade B art direction, and grade C gameplay. My main gameplay critque: losing to bosses doesn't always feel like your fault, usually feel like a product of randomized aspects/wonky hitboxes. There are some well designed bosses, but I'd say the negatives on the fights stand out more than the highlights. For art direction, the number of frames per animation, visual difference between background and character art, and general lack of more than 1 enemy per level was the big drawback; I felt like I could count on one hand the number of animations/level.
