Good art/mediocre controls/still fun
Ambitious game with stiff, inconsistent controls, bad art, and a story that doesn't quite come together (but is nonetheless told in a reasonbly compelling way). Worthwhile, if you're a fan of games like Ori, and looking for something to tide you over. While there is initially some room for skill, the trick to enjoying this game is collecting all the upgrades, then damage trading with bosses. Nonetheless, they change up the game mechanics in fun and interesting ways right up until the end. You won't grow bored.
