Awesome game and really addictive.
Really enjoyable and full of surprise from start to finish, 21hours in 2 days and i didn't even realised that before i finished it the first time.

Fantastic Game
Inscryption is a turn-based card game with great, addictive gameplay, a lot of story and much to explore. Try not to spoil yourself before playing, there are a lit of surprises and secrets best left to discover yourself. Presentation, game mechanichs as well as progression and gameplay loop were nailed in this gem. I just finished the game and I am starting over immediately.

Short but sweet
This is not a rougelike in the spirit of Slay the Spire but a storydriven game which ends after about 12 hours of playtime. You can replay the game but without the story to carry it, it´s not nearly as good as befor. That beeing said, I had a blast playing the game and can wholeheartedly recomend it.

Great deckbuilding game with many twists
Inscryption is a solid single-player deckbuilding game that keeps things fresh with new cards, new rulesets, some innovative storytelling and a quite a few puzzles sprinkled in. I could very well see this game being adapted to a proper multiplayer game with a few tweaks. The reasons why I'm not giving the game a full 5 stars are two-fold. First, there are quite a few tedious sections in the game which, while expected from the genre, are exacerbated by a loss of progress after beating the game if you want to try some of the more difficult challenges or explore previous areas more. Second, there are too many obtuse secrets in the game, some of which being literally impossible to figure out without arcane knowledge from outside of the game, which is extremely frustrating since 100% completion is not possible without a walkthrough due to this. As long as you're OK with the above, and as long as you don't mind the advertised horror and roguelike elements taking a step back a few hours into the game, this is an easy recommendation from me for a playthrough.

The Best Experience I've Had In Years
Honestly, what a great game at a great price. I played the demo and was absolutely hooked, and if you have any doubts about it then you should, too. That, really, was the selling point for me, and I have absolutely no regrets about my purchase. The horror theme was consistent throughout the game. There were a few lulls where I hit what I thought was a grind, and then there was a pleasant (that is, frightening) interruption from there. Like some great horror games, there's more to everything than what's presented at first, and you'll be rewarded for peeling back the skin of the game. It's not simply a card game, either. There are other elements present, and you should be aware that this really tries to stretch how think and approach things. Most of the things are easy lessons, though, and you just have to elaborate on simple mechanics in complex ways. I did get discouraged a few times, but the game helps push you along to a very satisfying conclusion. I strongly, strongly encourage you not to look up hints, clues, or walkthroughs. It's the most fun I've had in a very long time, and the game design is such that if you find it impossible to progress, just take a break and try something different.
