I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream

I read the story so I knew what I was getting into. The game goes into much more details into the character's and their backgrounds (and changes a few things with them). It could be classified as "horror" but it's not so much scary as horrific examples of what humans are capable of (I saved Nimdok's story until last because I knew some of what happens). There is some pixel hunting and a few illogical puzzles (the last chapter is super confusing, IMO) but I mostly enjoyed it. I'm glad I finally finished it but I don't think that I will be revisiting it, for the heavy subject matter.

I love this game, it is my favorite video game of all time. The puzzles were not all that hard really, some were a tad too particular, but that is just a point and click regular. I love the story and I love that Harlan Ellison fleshed out the lore of this world.

This is an intriguing adventure game that features five people's struggle against their flawed character. The game itself is very atmosferic and invoked my emotions thoroughly throughout the playthrough. What amazed me was the consequences of your actions, saying the wrong thing to the wrong person will have fatal consequences, and not saying the right thing will as well. This game is really worth the price, and it can be played in different parts, so you don't have to spend a whole night playing through (although you probably will want to do so anyway).

This is an excellent point and click adventure game, with everything to recommend it. The atmosphere is dark and rich, the graphics are characterful, the voice acting is excellent. If you like point and click adventure games, or story rich atmospheric games, this is for you.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a classic from the DOS era. This is a dark game that makes you ask yourself some questions that no one wants to answer. This game is based off the short story of the same name by Harlan Ellison and while it does deviate from the original source material it still holds the same meaning. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves dark scifi stories.
