Wanted to buy, but…
I wanted to buy this game. Then I read the dozens of reviews about the intrusive spy-ware policy the game requires. No thank you, I have many entertainment options without you forcing the “right” to spy on me. Update your thinking, Sony, about who the customer is and who has the “rights” and I may consider buying your products in the future.

Wish I waited
So I thought this game would never make it to GoG so I bought it on steam about a month ago. Silly me. As for the game: it's a very well executed open world action/sneaking game. I really liked the setting and the characters. As Aloy is a hunter and not a standard buff warrior it takes a bit of a different approach to combat with lots of traps and strategies you can use. I had fun playing through to the end and really wish part 2 will eventually make it's way to PC. If you like games like RDR2, the last few Assassins Creed games, this one is very highly recommended. The port had a lot of troubles at the start, but most issues have been fixed. Since the latest patch I've had no crashes and performance was fine. System requirements are rather high, so beware. I could play the game at rather high settings @1440p 60+fps with an 3700X and a 1080ti. My "work" pc with an i5 4590S and GTX980 would just barely reach a stuttery 30fps @1080p at lowest settings.

Not DRM free
Requires Data collection agreement. Your option is more or less, but can't choose "none". This defeats the purpose of GoG. Refunded on a different platform. I'd pay full price for any game I wanted to play, if it was DRM free.

Good game but BIG PRIVACY PROBLEM...
So I decided to play this game after hearing a lot about it, and I must admit, I was very nicely surprised by it. The story is really nice and has some surprise elements, characters are good, and even better in the DLC. The gameplay remind me a bit of monster hunter playing the bow. And the environement are simply gorgeous. Some of the element are difficults and can be frustrating, especially the hunter trials with some ridiculous objectives. But however it's a great game, that I trully enjoyed, the story is good all the way throught and stay entertaining. Howerver, the ENORMOUS problem here, is the fact, not only it's NOT DRM free, but when you read the confidentiality chart is OUTRAGEOUS and VERY AGGRESSIVE DATA COLLECTION, almost spyware like. But you have NO CHOICE regarding the data you send, and there is NO OPTIONS to say "I do not want to send ANY data". So be VERY careful with that and know what's going on here.
