Homeworld® Remastered Collection

Fun game but crashes. Nothing more frustrating than finally getting the upper hand in an epic battle after an hour of play and see the "access violation" dialog.

Two stars for the originals working on modern hardware, and the visuals are better, but not amazing. But the gameplay of the remasters is atrocious. Completely obviated salvage corvettes. Made friendly AI utterly stupid and useless without constant micro. Enemy AI is genius level and single minded at destroying whatever the priority is. And often seem about bulletproof, but that could just be the terrible friendly AI unable to hot anything. Gearbox should be drummed out of the game industry for this atrocity and all the PMs and leads on the Remaster should be forbidden to ever have a job more interesting than mopping floors.

Simply the best Space RTS

they did an alright job with this till you want to use the salvage corvets... they fucked up the mechenic that lets you drag a box around all the units you want to steal... it becomes a real pain in the ass to even bother with them after that so now this game doesnt ever get palyed again origianl homeworld... 5 stars homeworld 2...... 0 stars

Even if you are nostalgic of fan of Homeworld, you will be quickly frustrated by the stupid AI (Including on your side, for auto attack and pathfinding), somehow even worse than in the original. Graphics on this remastered are already outidated. The gameplay is a lot of complex thing which brings nothing interesting. The story is not "amazing" like some says, but very basic.
