It's a really good metroidvania.
I wasn't too interested in Hollow Knight, but Silksong is probably going to beat out Super Metroid and SotN for me.

Very fun but very hard
Definitely harder than Hollow Knight, but so expansive and engaging. If you struggled with Hollow Knight, you mught want to pass on this or get some mods. The game mechanics are very interesting, and I enjoy all the movement options. Combat feels more complex this time around in a very satisfying way. It's so expansive, I can just stay in the same area and find more and more things. I haven't progressed the story in ages, there's so much to do with a lot of unique areas. Easily worth its price.

I have a bug phobia and I love this game
Where to start.. The controls are tight, the graphics are gorgeous, I get to maim my phobia for a reasonable price, Maybe this game will help me get over that instinctual ick i feel when beetles buzz their wings and I'll buy the original Hollow Knight, who knows. Problems? None. What could be better? Add a tool to show health bars for added satisfaction derived from bug splattering. Yes, I do want to see the life drain from their beady bug eyes. Bugs? This game is Full of Bugs as game design intended! 10/10 Reccomended, Forget other overpriced, overrated trash, Silksong is where the action is at. Buy this ethically distributed high quality adventure, Play this game, you will have fun.

Amazing but very difficult
Silksong is amazing sequel to the original Hollow Knight. The art, music, gameplay, everything is up a level. Unfortunately, difficluty is up a level too. It seems that Team Cherry put end game Hollow Knight difficulty to Silksong midgame. Bosses that have ridiculous amount of attacks and spawn minions. Pixel perfect platforming challenges. Lack of checkpoints or quicksaves so you have to backtrack several minutes, only to be gobbled up again. Worst of all, you would think that after defeating an optional challenge, you would get a meaningfull upgrade, but no - mostly you would get 1/4 of health upgrade or a tool that´s not better then what you already have. Yet still, the game is amazing and worth pushing through. I´m just not sure I'll be able to.
