A challenging yet beautiful Masterpiece
The gameplay is fluent, initially a little bit challenging yet easy to get a grasp of, the story is told quite well which is only improved by the art. The art is beautiful just like the last game. The gameplay while fluent can be quite the challenge, as every attack, jump, dodge, etc. is incredibly important, if you mess up, you will take damage, while this fixes a lot of issues I had with hollow knight, it is 100% a harder game, the parkour is more challenging, the fights are faster paced, and consequently a lot harder. The addition of crests and mid air healing is also quite the nice change. Both Hollow Knight, and Hollow Knight: Silksong are great games. This game is only brought down by my own preference, of wanting the early bosses to be ever so slightly easier.
