Just buy this game
One of the best action adventure games in living memory. An incredible amount of content and value for very little money. If you enjoy 2D platformers and Metroid-style progression, you owe it to yourself to play this game. It will grab you and never let go.

"He guard, he protec.The Hollow Knight."
One of the modern classics. It has all. Great art direction, back story, music, difficulty, huge & clever map, lot of backtracking, secrets to find, humor, darkness, cuteness. It's simple, by now it got everything it needs... except his Silksong DLC (a legend tells that one day, it will be anounced and avalaible but for now, they are on the Content Island, with Cupead's Chalice Delicious Course & the final version of Star Citizen). Already had it on Switch and decided to purchase this gem again, cos this little Bug Knight deserves it.

Прекрасная игра с нужной атмосферой
Проходил эту игру в стиме, но захотелось оставить отзыв и здесь. На моей памяти не было еще ни одного платформера, который бы так затягивал и заставлял сопереживать персонажам. В этой игре большую роль сыграл саундтрек: когда нужно музыка спокойная и размеренная, так и заставляющая неторопливо изучать каждый уголок этого мира, а во время битвы с боссом музыка напряженная и быстрая. Кстати, про битвы с боссами: они очень хардкорные и порой заставляют действительно попотеть. Эта игра очень схожа с серией игр Dark Souls по духу, да и по сложности. Вместо костров здесь скамейки, а при смерти нужно отыскать свой дух и убить, чтобы забрать игровую валюту обратно. 10/10.

One of the best games I've played
Hollow Knight might be one of my favorite games of all time. - The story telling is top notch, you're introduced gradually, and it pulls you in. - The game play is very well polished. The world is pretty large and there yet traversing is fun. There are tons of ways to get around and all of the areas are pretty different but mesh very well with the story. - The game does a good job of easing you into the more difficult mechanics. The game is also as hard as you want it to be. There is tons of stuff to collect and lore to discover that is totally optional to a playthrough. Some of them are VERY hard to get to but in a challenging way. Think Celeste levels of difficulty or even harder in parts, where you need almost frame-level precision to time your movements, but by the time you get to those areas you're prepared. The pacing is great. - There were a couple times where I had been playing for hours, only to look at the map and see there are HUGE areas of the map that have yet to even be explored. There's so much content and it fits. It's not like a lot of games "bolted-on" post-release content. Do yourself a favor and play it. I didn't pick it up until 2021 and I really regret waiting. The hype around this game is well deserved. Get it.
