Greatest surprise I had in gaming ever
I didnt know this game existed until I saw it on sale. It immediately drew me in with its art style and music but I still couldn't really get into it until 3-4 hours into the game and then it clicked. Hollow knight came out of nowhere and just kept on giving. And I'm so sorry for not buying this game for a full price (and at 15 dollars its a STEAL) so i bought a copy for a friend too. Amazing job from Team Cherry, I'm excited for whatever they do next! + Art style..absolutely beautiful + one of the best, most atmospheric soundtracks I ever heard + Incredibly well crafted beautiful world that is a joy to explore + dark souls - style storytelling, great lore and world building + simple yet challenging combat. Easy to learn difficult to master + memorable bosses + absolute steal at full price + FREE DLC! - slow start (nitpicking) - some areas (last arena battle for example) will test your patience to the maximum lol Overall 10/10 for such a "small" game that came out of nowhere completely blew my mind..probably goty 2017 (cant decide beetwen this and divinity original sin 2)

My first and only review
I literally never rated anything anywhere on the internet. Ever. But for this game I felt I needed to make an exception. It's that good. And I am not even a fan of the genre. But the artwork, the music, the atmosphere ... wow.
